American actress, singer, and model Tallulah Willis, who is the youngest daughter of actor Bruce Willis and his ex-wife Demi Moore is a proud daughter who has all the love for her dear father in the world.
In a heartfelt Instagram post on September 30, she shared a touching tribute to her father, Bruce Willis, who is currently battling with frontotemporal dementia.
“Hey I love this guy so much and feeling feelings is tough stuff, but I’m so grateful to let them flow through me now instead of disconnecting from it! From the forever archives,” wrote Tallulah next to three photos of her and her dad, 69.
The images showcase the beautiful father-daughter bond The first image shows Bruce kissing his daughter on the back of her head while gently grabbing her shoulders. Tallulah is seen holding onto his hands with her eyes closed.
Furthermore, Bruce’s wife Emma Heming Willis as well as Tallulah revealed in February 2023 that he had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. Before this in 2022 was first diagnosed with aphasia.
Frontotemporal dementia is an all-encompassing term for a group of brain disorders that threaten the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain, as per PEOPLE. Alas, parts of these lobes atrophy and the shrinking of these areas can cause speech issues, emotional problems, and modifications in personality, motor skills, etc.
Earlier this month, Tallulah said during an appearance on the Today show that her dad is “stable, which, in this situation, is good.” She further admitted that it’s tough for her to witness her father go through this scenario but she admitted that while there are several painful days, there’s also so much love to give and take from one another.
She admitted that after this diagnosis, she has learned not to take anyone in life for granted and proudly added that she thinks he’s very proud of her for the person she has become.
She also said “I’ve done what I need to do to make sure that I can just be present,” which means she makes sure to be present beside him as much as possible.
We wish Bruce a speedy recovery and more power to Tallulah and her family amidst these turbulent times in their lives.
