Riddhima Kapoor Birthday: When Ranbir Kapoor confessed complaining about 1st guy she dated to mom Neetu Kapoor; ‘I used to read her diary’

Today, September 15, 2024, marks Ranbir Kapoor’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni’s birthday. The sibling duo shares a great bond, which has been seen many times on social media or during their family get-togethers. On Riddhima’s birthday, let’s revisit the moment when Ranbir confessed to complaining about the first guy she dated to their mother, Neetu Kapoor. He even admitted to reading her diary.

In an old interview with NDTV, Ranbir Kapoor was asked if he had ever ‘snooped’ around in his personal life. In response, the actor admitted to doing it when he was younger and revealed that he was interested in finding out what his sister Riddhima Kapoor was doing.

Talking about reading her diary, he said, “My sister used to write a diary, so then when she used to go to sleep, I used to read her diary, what she’s writing.” Ranbir recalled how he once complained about his sister to their mother, Neetu Kapoor, saying, “The first time she started dating a guy, I went and complained to my mother, ‘Look, what she’s writing about this boy.’”

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni is all set to make her debut in the entertainment world. She is part of the next season of the reality series Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives.

The third season is called Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives, and its first look was unveiled earlier this year. There will be two more fresh faces in the third season: Kalyani Saha Chawla and Shalini Passi. They will be joining Neelam Kothari, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Pandey, and Seema Kiran Sajdeh, who have already starred in the first two seasons of the show.

Season 3 will stream on Netflix. The official Instagram handle of the streaming platform put an interesting caption along with the first look. It said, “You know and love the four but the more t̶h̶e̶ m̶e̶r̶r̶i̶e̶r̶ the messier. Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives S3, coming soon only on Netflix!”

Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor has been busy shooting for Nitesh Tiwari’s epic Ramayana. He will soon start working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.

‘Would you ask Shah Rukh Khan’s wife same thing?’ questions Govinda’s wife Sunita on being asked about entering Bigg Boss: ‘You think I clean toilets?’

Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja is known for not mincing her words and speaking her mind, unfiltered. The audience recently got a peek into her real and raw self when she was on a podcast. While indulging in the candid chat, she was asked if she would ever be part of the reality TV show, Bigg Boss. Responding to it, she stated that she isn’t the one who would clean toilets. Moreover, no one would ask Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan such questions.

During an interview with Time Out with Ankit, Govinda’s better half Sunita Ahuja stated that the team of Big Boss has been inviting for the show and the OTT version of it, for the past four years. But she told them, ‘Are you mad? You think I clean toilets?’ The celebrity also quizzed the host that he asked her this question, but “Would you ask Shah Rukh Khan’s wife the same thing? Do you think we’re struggling financially? I don’t even watch Bigg Boss,” Sunita quipped.

However, she did express her desire to be part of Karan Johar’s chat show, Koffee With Karan. Opining about it, Ahuja stated that she is waiting for an invite from the makers. When enquired if she’s mad on the filmmaker for not inviting her to the popular show till now, she responded “Why would I be irritated?” adding that it’s KJo’s show and he can invite whoever he feels like. However, if she ever goes on KWK, she’ll bring ratings to it. Moreover, they will have a ball since both Karan and her are Gemini.

During the same interview, Sunita shared that she isn’t the only one approached for Big Boss; her daughter, Tina, has also received an offer. However, she made it clear to the show’s producers that they can only approach her if they want her to co-host with Salman Khan. Sunita and Govind also have a son, Yashvardhan Ahuja, who is set to make his acting debut shortly.

Declined Offer To Run for PM’s Post, Was Not My Aim In Life: Nitin Gadkari

Union minister Nitin Gadkari on Saturday said a political leader once offered to support him if he were to enter the race for the Prime Minister’s post, but he declined the offer stating that he did not nurse that ambition.

“I remember one incident — I would not name anyone — that person said if you are going to become prime minister, we will support you,” Gadkari said at a journalism awards function here, without specifying when the conversation took place.

“But, I asked why you should support me, and why should I take your support. To become the prime minister is not the aim in my life. I am loyal to my conviction and my organisation, and I am not going to compromise for any post because my conviction is foremost for me,” the senior BJP leader added.

In his speech, Nitin Gadkari underlined the importance of ethics in both journalism and politics.

Recalling a meeting with a senior CPI functionary, Nitin Gadkari said he told the communist leader that late A B Bardhan was among the tallest politicians from Nagpur and Vidarbha.

When the leader expressed surprise saying that Bardhan was an opponent of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Nitin Gadkari said honest opposition should be respected.

“I said one should respect a person who opposes with honesty, because there is honesty in his opposition….one who opposes with dishonesty deserves no respect,” said Nitin Gadkari.

Comrade Bardhan was faithful to his ideology, and politics as well as journalism now lack such people, he said.

Democracy will be successful only when all four pillars — judiciary, executive, legislature and media — follow ethics, the BJP leader further said.
