The Congress on Wednesday paid rich tributes to former prime minister Indira Gandhi on her birth anniversary, with Rahul Gandhi saying that he was inspired to make fearless decisions for India from his grandmother.

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Wednesday condemned a video of Delhi blast accused Umar Nabi justifying suicide bombings, stating suicide is haram in Islam and killing innocents is a grave sin. Owaisi also questioned Union Home Minister Amit Shah about the attack’s detection, asking about the origin of the group.

He said Nabi’s comments not only violate Islamic principles but also amount to a direct attack on the law of the land.
