Suicide is haram (forbidden) in Islam, and the killing of innocents is a “grave sin”, Hyderabad MP and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has said in his response to the viral video of Delhi bomber Umar un-Nabi equating suicide bombing with “martyrdom”.

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Wednesday condemned a video of Delhi blast accused Umar Nabi justifying suicide bombings, stating suicide is haram in Islam and killing innocents is a grave sin. Owaisi also questioned Union Home Minister Amit Shah about the attack’s detection, asking about the origin of the group.
