Agastya Nanda’s first look from his upcoming film Ikkis has been unveiled. The actor, who made his OTT debut with The Archies, will now be making his theatrical debut with the Sriram Raghavan film. Ikkis is set against the backdrop of the 1971 war and follows the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetrapal. He is the youngest recipient of the Param Veer Chakra honour. The film will be released in December this year.

Sharing the character poster, Maddock Films wrote, “On the birth anniversary of Arun Khetarpal, Ikkis, a story that will forever stay in our hearts, is wrapped. Dinesh Vijan and Maddock Films present #Ikkis, directed by Sriram Raghavan, a true untold story of the youngest officer recipient of the Param Vir Chakra. In cinemas December 2025!”

Ikkis also stars Dharmendra, Jaideep Ahlawat and Shree Bishnoi, among others. In the first poster, Agastya can be seen standing on the battlefield and in the second one, we see him in action, with war tankers around.

As soon as the poster was unveiled, Agastya’s family members and friends showered their love and support. His uncle Abhishek Bachchan reposted the photo, while his sister Navya Naveli posted it on Instagram’s story section. Agastya’s rumoured girlfriend, Suhana Khan, too, shared the posters.

Ikkis

Ikkis chronicles the bravery and sacrifice of the 21-year-old soldier during the 1971 Indo-Pak war. Agastya Nanda portrays Khetarpal, bringing to life the young officer’s valour in the Battle of Basantar. Veteran actor Dharmendra plays ML Khetarpal, Arun’s father, while Jaideep Ahlawat takes on the role of a Pakistani army officer. The ensemble cast also includes Sikandar Kher, Simar Bhatia, and Ekavali Khanna.

Produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, Ikkis promises to be a stirring tribute to one of India’s most celebrated war heroes.
