The makers of Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi celebrated a milestone in the actor’s career. He has completed 18 glorious years in cinema (his film Chirutha released on September 28, 2007). The landmark year has got the fans going. Meanwhile, Charan is shooting for rustic drama Peddi, which is being crafted on a massive canvas.

Ram Charan exudes an edgy vibe
Ram Charan will dive deep into one of the most ambitious roles of his career for his upcoming film Peddi. And to celebrate the special occasion of the actor’s 18th anniversary in the industry, Peddi filmmakers released a new poster that captures him in a strikingly intense look. Standing on a railway track with a backpack and a beedi in his fingers, Charan exudes an edgy vibe. His rugged look, bushy beard and intense look and unkempt hair reflect the soul in his character. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena fame, Peddi promises a raw and emotionally charged story set against a rugged rural backdrop. And the latest poster of the actor is a testament to his grit.
Versatility is his middle name
A source close to the unit informs, “Ram Charan will be sporting multiple looks and his rugged appearance is just one of them. Since his character has several layers, each look reflects the emotional aspects of the time.” The actor’s physical transformation for Peddi, his intense prep and the teaser has set the expectations high. Peddi is slated for a release on March 27, 2026, coinciding with Ram Charan’s birthday.
Right from his debut film Chirutha to Peddi, one thing common throughout Ram Charan’ career is his dedication.
