PM Modi addressed the nation from the Red Fort on India’s 79th Independence Day today. The Prime Minister hoisted the national flag for the 12th consecutive time at the iconic monument in New Delhi.

In his address to the nation on the 79th Independence Day, PM Modi praised the “brave soldiers who punished masters of terror beyond their imagination” during Operation Sindoor.

From the Red Fort, Prime Minister Modi responded to US tariff threats by championing a self-reliant India, urging focus on high-quality, affordable products with the mantra ‘Daam kam, dum zyada.’ He emphasised ‘vocal for local’ to achieve a prosperous India, calling on influencers and political parties to promote indigenous products and build a stronger global image through commitment and quality.
