India is opening up the private sector for nuclear energy, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Friday on the occasion of the 78th Independence Day.

PM Modi addressed the nation from the Red Fort on India’s 79th Independence Day today. The Prime Minister hoisted the national flag for the 12th consecutive time at the iconic monument in New Delhi.

In his address to the nation on the 79th Independence Day, PM Modi praised the “brave soldiers who punished masters of terror beyond their imagination” during Operation Sindoor.
