Upon receiving the incident information, police reached the spot, rescued all the injured, and admitted them to a Community Health Centre in Bangarmau for treatment.

Mihir, 24, who managed to evade the police since Sunday morning, was arrested from Virar near Mumbai. He will be produced in Mumbai’s Sewri court on Wednesday.

At least 18 people were killed and several others injured after the bus – they were travelling in – collided with a milk container in Uttar Pradesh’s Unnao today. 

The double-decker bus was travelling from Bihar’s Sitamarhi to Delhi when it rammed the milk container from the back on the Lucknow-Agra expressway this morning, the police said

The injured have been rushed to a hospital and are being treated there, officials said.
