A flight carrying 290 students, mainly from Jammu and Kashmir, landed in Delhi from Mashhad, Iran, after Tehran opened its airspace. Approximately 1,000 Indians are expected to return, with additional flights scheduled.

A federal judge has ordered the release of Mahmoud Khalil, a former Columbia University graduate student, from immigration detention after over three months.
