US ambassador to Lebanon submitted a draft truce proposal to Lebanon’s speaker of parliament on Nov. 14, Reuters reported. The move is as part of an intense push to end the IDF-Hezbollah war, Reuters report added citing political sources.The report said that there is agreement on certain elements of a deal, but also sharp disagreements over Israel’s security demand. Israel is demanding that IDF should retain the ability to strike at Hezbollah if necessary to prevent it from rearming. Lebanese officials say that “direct enforcement” by Israel has not been formally floated to Lebanon. “The idea that Israel can enforce at any time – that is unthinkable,” one of the political sources told Reuters.The written proposal was the first one Washington has submitted in several weeks, senior Lebanese political sources said. The draft was submitted following weeks of talks that included officials from France, the US , and Israel.

Malaika was cast for Abir Gulaal, she had even reached the sets of the film along with Fawad and Vaani Kapoor. But, the production team couldn’t iron out the schedule and their resources in-line with Malaika’s requirements. Our source says, “Malaika was keen on doing the film and so were the director and producer. But Malaika’s team set some guidelines and schedules which were not matching with the production team’s schedules and resources. Unfortunately, producer Vivek Agarwal had to call off Malaika’s casting in the film.”

It was then that Lisa Hayden was cast in the same role that was first offered to Malaika. It would have been great to see Malaika team up with Fawad and Vaani in this much-awaited movie. But our source reveals that Lisa has got into the character in an admirable fashion, and things are coming along just fine on the sets of Abir Gulaal.

Suriya’s pan-India film Kanguva is off to a good start at the box office. The Siva directorial stars the south superstar in a double role along with Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Yogi Babu and others. As per early estimates, the film earned Rs 22 crore net approximately on Day 1. This made Kanguva the third-highest opening Tamil film this year, the other being Thalapathy Vijay’s GOAT and Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan. This also marked Suriya’s best-ever opening.

This reincarnation drama has been made on an estimated budget of over Rs 350 crore. It follows two timelines, the current one and a timeline from thousands of years ago. Suriya plays the titular character, who is a tribal warrior prince and his reincarnation who is a bounty hunter in Goa. The makers hired experts from Hollywood for the technical departments like action and cinematography.
