The Congress appears to be surging ahead in Telangana as exit polls indicate a clear lead over its rival Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), the party of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR).

The Congress may win 63-79 seats, while BRS would win 31-47 seats in the 119-member assembly, according to India TV-CNX exit polls.

The Congress may take 48-64 seats, BRS 40-55 and the BJP 7-13, according to an exit poll by Jan Ki Baat.

TV9 Bharatvarsh-Polstrat exit polls show the Congress and the BRS neck and neck with 49-59 and 48-58 seats, respectively.

The Congress, KCR’s BRS and the BJP are the key contestants in the southern state.

As per the seat-sharing agreement, the BJP and actor Pawan Kalyan-headed Jana Sena are contesting in 111 and 8 seats, respectively.

The Congress has given one seat to its ally CPI, and is fighting from 118 others.

At the pre-release event in Hyderabad on Monday, Rashmika captivated everyone’s attention with her elegant appearance in a stunning lemon-yellow saree. The movie promises to captivate audiences with the sizzling chemistry between Rashmika and Ranbir Kapoor.

The event saw the presence of luminaries like SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu.

Speaking to the fans about Rashmika Mandanna, Mahesh Babu said that he cannot believe how his co-actor has grown and has acted in different languages. He also added that a new language should be discovered now for Rashmika to act in it. The Tollywood star was happy to see Rashmika playing the female lead in Tamil, Hindi and Kannada films apart from just Telugu.

In her heartfelt address, Rashmika reminisced about her first encounter with zSS Rajamouli during the Pushpa event and highlighted their collaboration for Animal. She added, “I met you during the Pushpa event sir and then now. I feel like we both have some blockbuster connection”.
