U.S. President Donald Trump called on Thursday for a 30-day unconditional ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine and said that both countries will be held accountable for the “sanctity of these direct negotiations.”

Amid the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday spoke with the Director Generals of border guarding forces to assess the situation.

Pakistan, hours after its foiled attempt to target 15 Indian cities, launched an attack on parts of Jammu and Kashmir. While the border areas are under heavy shelling, Jammu is being targeted with missiles and drones.
