Bengal minister Jyoti Priya Mallick was arrested after allegedly not cooperating with the Enforcement Directorate in an investigation into an alleged ration scam. He collapsed during his court hearing and was rushed to a hospital. Mallick claimed he was a victim of a political conspiracy by the BJP and Suvendu Adhikari. He will remain in ED custody, albeit in the hospital, until his next hearing on November 6.
