Sunny Leone Joins The Cast of US-based Series The Giant

After receiving positive reviews for her performance in Kennedy, Sunny Leone is now all set to take on an exciting new Hollywood project. The actor has joined the cast of the US-based series The Giant, created and written by Kevin B Ploth. She will soon begin shooting for the same. In the show, Sunny will be essaying the role of Reservation Sheriff Quanah Deerleaf.

Sharing her excitement, the actress said, “This is something very different from what I’ve done before, and that’s what really excited me about it. Exploring a new character and stepping into a completely new space is always a thrilling experience for me. I’m looking forward to this journey and giving it my all. I hope my fans enjoy watching it as much as I am enjoying being a part of it, and I truly hope they’re as excited as I am for what’s coming next.”

The series is backed by ARTIMIS Theatrical Productions LLC, a vetted veteran-run production company.

Meanwhile, Sunny Leone has exciting projects in the pipeline. The actress was last seen in the Telugu film Trimukha. She will next be seen in two Malayalam films, Rangeela and Shero. The former will mark her debut in the Malayalam industry. Following this, she will be seen in the Hindi film Helen and will make a special song appearance in the film The Battle of Bhima Koregaon. More details are awaited on these films.

Sunny is also receiving a lot of praises for the film Kennedy which was released on OTT a couple of months ago. She shared the screen with Rahul Bhatt in this Anurag Kashyap directorial.

Known for evolving and experimenting with her choices, Sunny Leone continues to reinvent herself with every project she takes on.

The star-studded evening also saw Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, AR Rahman, Riteish Deshmukh with Genelia Deshmukh, along with Kajol, Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi making their presence felt.

Alongside the film fraternity, Nita Ambani, Mukesh Ambani and Isha Ambani also posed for the cameras, adding to the glamour of the night. For context, the NMACC originally opened its doors between March 31 and April 2, 2023, and is now marking its third anniversary on April 3, 2026.

April is shaping up to be a packed month for K-drama fans, with a lineup that includes action, romance, workplace chaos and horror. From the much-awaited return of Bloodhounds to the introspective charm of Yumi’s Cells and fresh titles like Gold Land, the month promises diverse stories. Here is a list of K-dramas releasing this month that you can’t miss.
Bloodhounds 2
Director: Jason Kim
Cast: Woo Do Hwan, Laee Sang Yi, Rain, Choi Si Won, Tae Won Seok, Lee Si Aeon, Hwan Chan Sung
Bloodhounds follows Kim Geon-woo, a young boxer determined to build a better life for his single mother. However, his world turns when she becomes entangled with Smile Capital, a predatory loan shark organisation led by Kim Myeong-gil. Desperate to save his mother,  Geon-woo joins forces with Choi Tae-ho, a former Marine-turned-moneylender and Hong Woo-jin, a fellow boxer navigating his own struggles. Perfect Crown

Her path crosses with Prince I-an, a royal who, despite his title as the king’s son, finds himself emotionally adrift and stripped of real power. As their worlds collide, the story explores ambition, identity, and the quiet discontent that exists even at the top. It will be released on April 10 on Disney+.
Yumi’s Cells 3

Yumi’s Cells is a psychological romance that explores the everyday life of Kim Yu-mi through the animated, ever-reactive cells in her mind that control her everyday thoughts and actions. In its third season, Kim Go-eun returns as Yu-mi, now in her mid-30s and a successful romance novelist. While she has achieved the dreams she once chased, a quiet sense of emptiness begins to settle in. Her carefully balanced life is soon disrupted by the arrival of Shin Soon-rok, played by Kim Jae-won, whose presence stirs up a new wave of emotions. It will be released on April 13, 2026, on TvN. 
We Are All Trying Here 

Director: Cha Young Hoon

We Are All Trying Here explores the emotional undercurrents of envy and jealousy, following a group of individuals quietly grappling with their insecurities as they try to find a sense of peace and belonging. It will be released on April 18 on Netflix. 
The Scarecrow

Cast: Park Hae Soo, Lee Hee Joon, Kwak Sun Young, Seo Ji Hye, Song Geon Hee, Lee Suk Hyeong, Jung Moon Sung, Baek Hyun Jin, Yoo Seung Mok
The Scarecrow follows Kang Tae-ju, a once-celebrated detective who finds himself demoted and sent back to his hometown of Gangseong. Unwilling to bend his principles, he seizes on a chilling serial murder case as a chance to reclaim his standing. His investigation becomes difficult as he is forced to work alongside prosecutor Cha Si-young, a former school rival with whom tensions still run deep. The Scarecrow will be released on April 20 on Genie TV.

If Wishes Could Kill

If Wishes Could Kill is an upcoming young adult horror series set in Seorin High School, where a group of students discover the mysterious Girigo mobile application that claims to grant users’ wishes. When a student’s sudden death shakes the school, a group of classmates starts to notice a disturbing pattern that each tragedy is preceded by eerie, almost prophetic signs linked to the app. As fear spreads, Yoo Se-ah, Lim Na-ri, Kim Geon-woo, Kang Ha-joon, and Choi Hyeong-wook come together to uncover the truth behind Girigo. It will be released on April 24 on Netflix.

Filing For Love is a workplace comedy series that dives into office politics, power dynamics and unexpected connections. Joo In-ah is the tough head of the audit office. Ki-joon used to be the best performer in the audit office, but then he got demoted to a less important team after she arrived, landing him with the messy job of handling the company’s tough problems. It will be released on April 25 on tvN.
Gold Land

Director: Kim Sung Hoon
Cast: Park Bo Young, Kim Sung Cheol, Lee Hyun Wook, Kim Hee Won, Moon Jung Hee, Lee Kwang Soo

Gold Land follows Kim Hee-Ju, a security screening agent at an international airport, whose simple life takes a dangerous turn. Through her boyfriend Lee Do-Kyeong, a pilot, she accidentally receives gold from a smuggling organisation. What begins as an accident soon spirals into obsession, pulling Hee-ju deeper into a world driven by greed and survival. As tensions rise, she finds herself entangled with a range of players from a loan shark operative to a detective and a key figure linked to the Geumsung gang and the high-stakes casino hub known as Gold Land. It will be released on April 29 on Disney+.
