Isro has plans to launch two rockets, LVM-3 and PSLV, in 2028 for the Chandrayaan-4 mission. The mission aims to bring back moon rocks and soil from the lunar surface using five spacecraft modules. It will make India the fourth nation capable of returning lunar samples. Two separate rockets — heavy-lifter LVM-3 and Isro’s workhorse PSLV — will carry different payloads for the same moon mission and will be launched on different days.
