India is set to push for the United Nations to designate The Resistance Front (TRF), an offshoot of Lashkar-e-Taiba, as a terrorist organization following several attacks in Jammu and Kashmir. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced plans to send a team to the UNSC’s 1267 Sanctions Committee meeting this week to pursue sanctions and travel bans on TRF members.
