Authorities on Thursday received a bomb threat message for an Air India flight when it was flying from Toronto to Delhi, and later, the flight landed safely in the national capital, according to sources.

A 38-year-old woman here allegedly committed suicide after being distressed over her teenage son’s growing addiction to smartphones, police said on Thursday.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah vowed the “strictest possible punishment” for those responsible for the recent Delhi bomb blast, emphasizing that the action will deter future attacks. He assured that all perpetrators will be brought to justice, sending a strong global message against terrorism. Shah also expressed condolences to the victims’ families following the incident near the Red Fort.
