NCP senior leader Baba Siddique passed away after being shot multiple times by three unidentified assailants near his son’s office in Bandra East, Mumbai. Two suspects have been detained as police continue to investigate the motive behind the attack. Siddique is currently receiving treatment at Lilavati Hospital.

According to sources, three bullets were fired at Siddique. He died during treatment at the Lilavati Hospital.

The organisers of Sri Dharmik Leela Committee presented with a ”trishul” (trident) to the president and a ”gada” (mace) to the prime minister in a ceremonial welcome at the Dussehra programme.
