A 20-year-old man has died after falling into the sea in Mumbai while apparently taking photographs with his friends, a civic official said.

Sharmishta Panoli, a fourth-year law student at a Pune institute, was arrested from Gurugram on Friday.

The Delhi High Court upheld the 2017 termination of an Army officer who refused to participate in regimental religious parades due to his Christian faith. The court emphasized that the armed forces are united by their uniform, not divided by religion, and the officer’s behavior was against the secular norms of the Army.
