India strongly countered Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif’s UN remarks, where he claimed Pakistan downed Indian jets and praised Trump for a ceasefire. India’s UN representative, Petal Gahlot, refuted this, stating “Operation Sindoor” was an Indian action against terrorists in Pakistan and that Pakistan had pleaded for a ceasefire after threatening more attacks.
