Britain has set up crisis teams in Delhi and London to support the families of those aboard the Air India Flight 171, which crashed soon after takeoff from Ahmedabad Airport on Thursday, Foreign Secretary David Lammy informed Parliament.

They are on their knees on the floor, frantically flipping through photo albums. Tears continue to stream down their faces as they search for her picture: Nganthoi Sharma Kongbrailatpam, a crew member on Air India plane that crashed in Ahmedabad.

As firefighting and rescue teams work on the spot of the Air India crash, a deeper look into the reason behind it will likely be clear from a small box sitting in a corner of the aircraft – the black box.
