Alia recently became the new face of a leading global brand and her mother-in-law couldn’t help but hype her up. In response, the Jigra actress called Neetu ji her ‘beauty inspiration forever.’ The duo certainly sets some major saas-bahu goals.

On September 3, 2024, Alia Bhatt was officially announced as the global brand ambassador of a beauty brand on Instagram. Sharing the announcement post on her Instagram Stories, Neetu Kapoor exclaimed, “U are (100 emoji),” showcasing her pride in her daughter-in-law.

Touched by Neetu ji’s support, Alia reshared her story and expressed, “My beauty inspiration always and forever,” accompanied by a two pink hearts emoji.

Today, September 4, marks the birth anniversary of Rishi Kapoor. On the occasion, Neetu Kapoor made a special post in memory of her husband. She shared a throwback picture of him and captioned it, “In remembrance, would have been 72 today.”

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also penned a heartfelt note expressing her love for her father. She said, “Happy Birthday Papa. How I wish u were here celebrating your special day with both your granddaughters.”

She also talked about her daughter Samara as well as Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s little one Raha in the note. Riddhima addressed her father and shared, “Your ‘bandari Sam’ is all grown up and baby Raha is the cutest- She is a mini you.”

She concluded by expressing how much she missed him. Riddhima stated, “Papa, I will always cherish the memories we got to share. We miss you so much, and our love for you only deepens with each passing day.”

Coming to Alia Bhatt’s work front, she is currently busy shooting for her YRF Spy Universe film Alpha. She was recently in Kashmir for a schedule where she was also accompanied by her daughter Raha. Apart from this, she will next be seen in the action thriller Jigra with Vedang Raina. The movie is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 11.

What’s Next? The Future With Bill Gates TRAILER: Microsoft CEO Deep Dives Into Impact of AI With James Cameron, Bono and THIS Pop Icon

“This show is about our future,” says Bill Gates, the globally known tech icon in the trailer of Netflix’s What’s Next? The Future with Bill Gates. This upcoming series will focus on major challenges that society, all around the world faces at present.

In the recently released trailer, the CEO of Microsoft is seen discussing a lot of topics, along with some big names such as Bono, Sen. Bernie Sanders, and Dr. Anthony Fauci, as well as one of Hollywood’s most cherished icons, James Cameron and also Lady Gaga.

From artificial intelligence to climate change, all will be discussed in the soon-to-be-released Netflix show, What’s Next? The Future with Bill Gates.

As seen in the trailer, the show would be a docuseries where Bill Gates would have talked about solving the above-mentioned issues faced by the world along with some other life-tethering problems such as income inequality as well as infectious diseases.

With really intriguing music, the trailer also shows Gates generating a text for his son, using ChatGPT in Gen Z slang. “Yo fam looks good,” is what Bill Gates reads from the generated text by the AI.

Somewhere in the trailer, the director of the highly acclaimed movie Titanic is seen stating that the current times make it tough to make a science fiction movie.

It is sure that the series will talk about how AI is impacting many industries and human life, but in the meantime, it will also focus on conspiracy theories.

Talking about conspiracy theories, the tech fame is then seen reading a comment online that says he, along with Lady Gaga and Tom Hanks, are part of a reptilian race.

In her crispy voice and during a deep conversation with Gates, the Love Game songstress is then seen stating that entertainment and information happen to be in much closer proximity than they were before.

The singer-turned-actress who will be next seen in the DC movie, Joker: Folie A Deux, alongside Joaquin Phoenix, is further heard saying that these current scenarios can’t be stopped.

Further in the trailer, Sen. Bernie Sanders is then heard discussing Gates’ enormous fortune. With all of the issues, the five-part series by Netflix will even show the 68-year-old billionaire discussing environmental issues and touching on the topic of eradication of diseases such as malaria.

The anticipated series is being executive-produced by Morgan Neville.

With a huge guest list on the show, even Bill Gates’ daughter Phoebe will be seen in the upcoming Netflix series, as per PEOPLE.

What’s Next? The Future with Bill Gates will premiere on September 18, 2024.

Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang Punia To Contest Haryana Polls As Congress Candidates

Wrestlers Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia joined the Congress Wednesday afternoon and will contest next month’s Haryana Assembly election. Ms Phogat is expected to challenge for the Julana seat held by the Jannayak Janta Party’s Amarjeet Dhanda. Mr Punia’s likely seat is unclear. The two met Congress MP Rahul Gandhi today, after which news of their political and electoral debut was confirmed.

Ms Phogat and Mr Punia made headlines last year after leading protests against former wrestling body chief Brij Bhushan Singh, who faces charges of sexual assault and intimidation. He was also a BJP MP at the time but was denied a ticket to defend Uttar Pradesh’s Kaiserganj Lok Sabha seat.

The BJP, instead, fielded his son, Karan Bhushan Singh, who won the seat.

The Congress will hope that bringing Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia onboard will strengthen its appeal among voters in the Hindi heartland state, which the BJP has ruled since 2014. Ms Phogat’s connect with Haryana farmers – lakhs of whom continue to protest against the BJP on issues like legal guarantees for MSP – will also have been a factor in the Congress’ consideration.

Last week Ms Phogat visited farmers camped out at a protest site in Shambhu on the Haryana-Delhi border, describing herself as “your daughter” and saying she prays to God to deliver justice for them.

“Your agitation completes 200 days today. I pray to God that you get what you came for – justice. Your daughter stands with you. I also urge the government… we too are citizens of India and just because we raise our voices it is not political,” she said, “You (the government) should hear them.”

Then, though, when asked about her political debut, Ms Phogat was circumspect.

“I will not speak on this… I will not talk about politics. I have come to see my family. If you (the press) insist on talking about this you will take focus away from their (the farmers’) struggle. The focus is not on me today. The focus should be on the farmers, I request this…” she said.
