Filmfare has exclusively learned that the internet star-turned-actor Bhuvan Bam is all set to make his big film debut as the male lead in a movie produced by Dharma Productions. He will star alongside Wamiqa Gabbi. This film will be directed by Sharan Sharma, who directed the much-loved movie Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl.

Dharma Productions’ top man, Karan Johar had earlier revealed that Bhuvan would be his main lead of the film. Recently, while talking to comedian Zarna Garg, Karan praised Bhuvan and casually revealed: “He’s been one of the biggest YouTubers and now he’s doing a film for us as the lead actor.” This simple line caused a huge buzz.

This will indeed be a massive moment in Bhuvan Bam’s career. He started from scratch, making videos on his famous BB Ki Vines channel. Recently, he moved into acting with the web series Taaza Khabar. In that show, he showcased his acting prowess to the fullest as critics and fans gave him great reviews for his serious, emotional performance, showing he is more than just a comedian. His move to lead a Dharma film is now a big step for him to establish him as a leading star.

On the other hand, Bhuvan’s co-actor Wamiqa is known for her strong performances and has been praised a lot recently. Her performance in Bhool Chuuk Maaf and Baby John were praised by fans and critics. Her talent and Bhuvan’s easy-going charm are expected to make a fresh and fun couple on screen.

Bhuvan’s highly anticipated film debut, supported by a huge banner like Dharma, and directed by Sharan Sharma, surely makes it one to watch out for. Varun Dhawan is making headlines for his upcoming film Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. Amid the promotional activities, a video of the actor has surfaced on social media, which is also making the news now. In the video, a man can be seen complaining about Varun’s driver for alleged rash driving. However, the actor calmly handled the situation. A police official was also present at the scene. Complaining to Varun, the man said, “Inhone mere upar gaadi chadhaya, aur ulta sidha gaali de raha hai.” The actor then tried to calm him down by saying, “Thik hai, thik hai.” The policeman also tried to mediate the situation. Afterwards, Varun sat in his car and left.

Some people on Reddit defended Varun and said that he was not responsible for his driver’s rash driving. One comment read, “Bhai ne sahi handle kiya

Hanji hanji karke bina koi drama hue nikal gaya” whereas another user wrote, “The driver showed some road rage & abused after a minor accident. So, what’s the big deal?? Wouldn’t most of us react the same way in such case? Also since these are his driver’s actions, no point dragging Varun into this!”

Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan is busy promoting his film Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari with his co-stars Sanya Malhotra, Janhvi Kapoor and Rohit Saraf.

The romantic comedy film, directed by Shashank Khaitan, tells the story of Sunny (Varun Dhawan) and Tulsi (Janhvi) as they try to win back their ex-lovers, Ananya (Sanya) and Vikram (Rohit). To make their exes jealous, Sunny and Tulsi pretend to be in a romantic relationship, which eventually results in hilarious situations.

The supporting cast includes Maniesh Paul, Akshay Oberoi, Abhinav Sharma, and other talented actors. Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is scheduled to be released in theatres on October 2, 2025.
