Today, October 28, Ananya Panday took to her Instagram stories to share an exciting behind-the-scenes glimpse from the shoot of Call Me Bae Season 2. She posted a fun photo of her vanity van adorned with a paper that reads ‘Bae’. In the snapshot, Ananya is rocking a relaxed long t-shirt while capturing the moment. This sneak peek has us all buzzing with anticipation for the series, and we can’t help but swoon over the charming BTS vibe!

Along with the picture, she captioned it, “Oh, she’s back back,” adding an extra layer of excitement for fans eagerly awaiting the new season!

Previously, Ananya Panday and Amazon Prime Video revealed the exciting news through a collaborative post. The announcement video showcased Panday in her iconic role alongside cast members Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Gurfateh Pirzada, and others from season one. The post read, “Our day couldn’t get any bae-tter, Bella is coming to swoon us over again with a new season. #CallMeBaeOnPrime, S2 in development.”

Season 1 follows Bella (Ananya Panday), a privileged young woman who discovers her family’s impending bankruptcy. Pressured by her mother, she pursues Agastya (Vihaan Samat), a wealthy business mogul, and they marry to save her family’s finances.

However, Agastya’s emotional distance drives Bella into an affair with her gym trainer, Prince (Varun Sood), leading to her separation from Agastya and the loss of her newfound wealth. The narrative then shifts to Bella’s empowering journey toward independence and self-discovery.

This comedy-drama, crafted by Ishita Moitra, Rohit Nair, and Samina Motlekar, is directed by Colin D’Cunha. The impressive cast includes Gurfateh Pirzada, Muskkaan Jaferi, Varun Sood, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Vihaan Samat, Vir Das, Riya Sen, Mini Mathur, Suchitra Pillai, Karishma Tanna, Sayani Gupta, and more in prominent roles.

Co-produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra, Call Me Bae comes to life under the Dharmatic Entertainment banner.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Ananya Panday recently starred in Vikramaditya Motwane’s Netflix series, CTRL, alongside Vihaan Samat. She will next be seen in Shankara alongside Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan. Set against the backdrop of the pre-independence era, the story centers around the life of C. Sankaran Nair.

Vijay Deverakonda’s speech for Dulquer Salmaan is unmissable; says he couldn’t share screen with latter in Kalki 2898 AD and Mahanati

Dulquer Salmaan and Meenakshi Chaudhary’s film Lucky Baskhar is all set to hit the big screens on October 31, coinciding with the festival of Diwali. Recently, the makers organized a pre-release event where Vijay Deverakonda arrived to support his close friend. The Kushi actor addressed the crowd with a heartfelt speech and recalled the first time he met Dulquer.

Vijay Deverakonda shared that he used to download Dulquer Salmaan’s films on torrent websites. Eventually, he met the Lucky Baskhar actor for the first time on the sets of Mahanati when a producer wished to do a multi-starrer movie with them.

The former took a trip down memory lane and recounted that he became friends with Dulquer after meeting him at the event for the same movie. Vijay also mentioned visiting him on the sets of Sita Ramam.

“We have been in two films now where we haven’t shared screen, Kalki 2898 AD and Mahanati,” the Arjun Reddy actor added.

Dulquer Salmaan felt overwhelmed after Vijay Deverakonda wished him the best for his upcoming movie. He also took to the stage to address the crowd and shared that the latter is his “lucky charm.” DQ mentioned that the two have been friends for a really long time now in showbiz.

Director Trivikram Srinivas was also in attendance at the pre-release event of Lucky Baskhar. Talking about Dulquer Salmaan, the filmmaker said, as quoted by Times Now, “He effortlessly carried such a complicated character. No one can continue the legacy of a legend like Mammootty; it is difficult.”

The filmmaker went on to add, “But Dulquer has created a path for himself, and he is already a modern-day great actor. The film gives every middle-class person hope to take on an adventure and win.”

Meanwhile, Lucky Baskhar will clash with other releases during Diwali, including Jayam Ravi’s Brother, Kavin’s Bloody Beggar, and Sivakarthikeyan starrer Amaran.

In the video, the father-son duo entered the security check with the star-wife leading them. The video recorded from afar showed AbRam waiting for his father, telling him something, and then both walked together holding hands.

In the viral video, the superstar serving casual fashion goals sported a white t-shirt paired with gray cargo pants and white sneakers. He also carried a matching cap with a black shoulder bag and jacket held in his arm. Meanwhile, the little one was seen in an all navy blue athleisure look. The star’s wife was seen in a white blazer with denim pants and carrying a bag along.
