The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) distanced itself from the INDIA bloc on Friday, saying it is not part of the opposition alliance anymore and questioning the Congress party’s role in leading it.

Hours after a violent clash at the premises of the Maharashtra Assembly, a heated exchange took place between NCP (Sharad Pawar) faction leader Rohit Pawar and a cop after he, along with party colleague Jitendra Awhad, went to visit a supporter.

Mangaluru police apprehended Roshan Saldana, accused of swindling crores from businessmen by posing as a wealthy entrepreneur. Saldana promised large loans, collected stamp duty and commissions, and then defrauded his victims. Police seized incriminating documents, jewelry, and excessive liquor from his residence, also revealing ₹40 crore in transactions over recent months.
