At least 18 people were killed and several others injured after the bus – they were travelling in – collided with a milk container in Uttar Pradesh’s Unnao today. 

The double-decker bus was travelling from Bihar’s Sitamarhi to Delhi when it rammed the milk container from the back on the Lucknow-Agra expressway this morning, the police said

The injured have been rushed to a hospital and are being treated there, officials said. 

India’s relationship with Russia gives it an ability to urge President Vladimir Putin to end its war with Ukraine, White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre said on Tuesday.

Jean-Pierre made the remarks after Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi told Putin that the death of innocent children was painful and terrifying, a day after a lethal strike on a children’s hospital in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv.
