India has dismissed Bangladesh’s interim government’s concerns about anti-Bangladesh activities originating from Indian soil, asserting its policy against allowing political actions targeting other nations. The MEA spokesperson emphasised India’s expectation for free and fair elections in Bangladesh. This response follows Bangladesh’s army chief’s offer to support the interim government in ensuring neutral elections amid shifts in the political landscape.
