The court insists on increasing penalties and criticizes the lack of effective measures and penal action against farmers.

Shubam Kumar, a labourer from Uttar Pradesh, was shot by terrorists in Pulwama’s Tral area, sustaining injuries to his arm. This attack is the third in a week targeting non-local labourers in Kashmir, following fatal attacks in Ganderbal and Shopian districts. Kumar is receiving treatment at a nearby hospital.
