Suryakumar Yadav and Haris Rauf each received a 30% match fee fine from the ICC for their on-field conduct during the Asia Cup India vs Pakistan matches. Rauf was penalised for aggressive gestures towards fans, while Yadav was fined for expressing solidarity with terror victims. Sahibzada Farhan also received a warning for his celebration.

India strongly rejected Turkish President Erdogan’s “objectionable” remarks on Jammu and Kashmir at the UNGA, reiterating it’s a strictly bilateral issue with Pakistan requiring no third-party mediation. New Delhi lodged a strong protest, emphasizing that such statements on India’s territorial integrity are unacceptable. India also highlighted Pakistan’s cross-border terrorism as the root cause of the problem.
