Three soldiers were injured in a fierce encounter with suspected foreign terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district. The gunfight erupted during a search operation in the Sonnar area, with security forces engaging a group of two to three Jaish-e-Mohammad militants. Reinforcements have been deployed as a large-scale operation to track down the terrorists is underway.

This will be UAE president’s third official visit to India since taking office and his fifth visit to the country in the past decade.
