The Supreme Court on Sunday questioned the West Bengal government’s determination to challenge the Calcutta High Court’s order for a CBI investigation into claims of land grabbing and sexual assault in Sandeshkhali. It further questioned why the government was interested in safeguarding the guilty and TMC leader Shahjahan Sheikh. The matter has been adjourned till July.

So far details about the film’s plot and the release date haven’t been unveiled.

Samantha was last seen in Kushi alongside Vijay Deverakonda. The film marked her comeback after her myositis diagnosis. The actress’ slate of upcoming projects includes the spy thriller series Citadel: Honey Bunny. Helmed by Raj & DK, the series also features Varun Dhawan.
