The World Championship of Legends (WCL) has cancelled the India vs Pakistan match after facing strong opposition from Indian cricket legends and sponsors. Shikhar Dhawan publicly refused to participate, citing geopolitical tensions and national pride. Other Indian players and sponsor EaseMyTrip also voiced their concerns, leading to the fixture’s cancellation and a public apology from WCL organisers.

TTD confirmed it suspended four of its employees over allegations that they practised other faiths and said these employees violated the institution’s code of conduct.

The WCL on Sunday called off the India vs Pakistan match, scheduled for July 20 at Edgbaston, after several Indian legends decided to skip.
