Abhishek Bachchan FINALLY breaks silence on divorce rumors with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan: ‘You all have blown the entire thing out of proportion’

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have recently been the subject of separation rumors. A deepfake video circulating online had intensified these speculations. However, recent reports indicate that Abhishek addressed the divorce rumors by showcasing his engagement ring and affirming that he is ‘still married’ to Aishwarya.

The Times of India reported that Abhishek Bachchan addressed the ongoing separation rumors in an interview with Bollywood UK Media. He reportedly showed off his wedding ring and confirmed that he is ‘still married’. Abhishek responded to the rumors by saying, “I don’t have anything to say to you all about that (the rumors). You all have blown the entire thing out of proportion, sadly. I understand why you do it. You have to file some stories. It’s okay, we’re celebrities, we have to take it. Still married, sorry.”

Divorce rumors began swirling when Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan arrived separately at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding on July 12 at the Jio World Convention Center. Abhishek attended the event with his family, including Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan, Navya Naveli Nanda, and Agastya Nanda. Meanwhile, Aishwarya arrived with their daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan.

Abhishek and Aishwarya tied the knot in 2007 and welcomed their first child, Aaradhya, in 2011. The couple, who have been married for 17 years, have starred in films such as Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke, Kuch Naa Kaho, Guru, Dhoom 2, and Raavan.

Recently, Abhishek Bachchan attended the Paris Olympics 2024, where he passionately cheered for the Indian athletes. His heartfelt hug with Neeraj Chopra following Chopra’s silver medal win captured hearts and received widespread admiration on the internet.

On the work front, Abhishek Bachchan is set to star in King, alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan. He will also feature in Remo D’Souza’s upcoming film Be Happy and has a role in Shoojit Sircar’s next directorial project.

Tom Cruise Closes Off Paris Olympics With Skydiving Stunt And Los Angeles Handover; DEETS

Tom Cruise once again surprised everyone with the impressive stunts he pulled during the Paris Olympics closing ceremony. The actor, known for doing his own stunts, did not disappoint us while handing over to Los Angeles for 2028.

As per People magazine, we saw him perform a skydiving stunt in which he swung from the top of the Stade de France. He then came down to the stadium field. The megastar went on to greet the athletes before making his way to the stage.

Cruise was given the Olympic flag by Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and Simone Biles. After safely strapping the flag to the back of a motorcycle, he rode off into the sunset, which was included in the pre-recorded video that followed his journey to Hollywood, per the outlet.

We can see the Mission Impossible star pass the major destinations, including the Eiffel Tower. He then took his motorcycle into an airplane that was waiting for him. As the film star donned his skydiving gear, we could hear him say, “I’m on my way.”

Cruise then leaped from the plane and went ahead to the Hollywood sign. The ‘O’s were turned into Olympic rings by the star. The Eyes Wide Shut actor passed off the flag to Olympic cyclist Kate Courtney.

She made her way through L.A. by riding, and with some assistance from Olympian Michael Johnson and Jagger Eaton, she pulled up to the Red Hot Chilli Peppers concert that was held on Venice Beach. Billie Eilish and Snoop Dogg also perform at the location.

Cruise’s involvement in the Olympics should not come as a surprise, as he has been a supporter of the same for a long time. In fact, in 2003, he carried the Olympic torch in Dodgers Stadium as a part of the L.A section of the Olympic Torch Relay.

According to the publication, swimmer Katie Ledecky and rower Nick Mead were the USA flag bearers for the closing event. It is to be noted that both individuals earned gold medals.

As per the outlet, Mead said in a statement, “To share this privilege with Katie makes it all the more special.” He added that his experience at the Paris Games has been a “dream of a lifetime,” and he was filled with a lot of “pride, gratitude, and joy.” Mead also thanked Paris and the entire French country for hosting an incredible Games. He continued, “I’ll cherish these memories forever.”

Ledecky also stated that she was proud of the accomplishments of the team in Paris. She added, “And (I’m) excited to celebrate with my teammates on Sunday.”

Throwback: When Yash REACTED to his comparison with Prabhas and said ‘I will be the first…’

It is not wrong to say that Yash’s collaboration with Prashanth Neel for their blockbuster franchise KGF changed the dynamic of the Kannada film industry forever. KGF 1 and 2 emerged as commercial hits at the box office, garnering praise from the audience. The Raja Huli actor, a top pan-Indian celebrity now, once spoke about his comparisons with Prabhas.

In 2022, in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Yash reacted to being called the next Prabhas for Bollywood. The actor said, “I will be the first Yash; Prabhas is also a fantastic actor with all due respect.”

“I will take it as a compliment because of all that Prabhas has achieved,” he added. He also revealed how he always believed how to ‘be yourself’ and comparison is something he always avoids.

In yet another interview, the Mr. and Mrs. Ramachari actor opened up on Prabhas starrer Baahubali and showered praises on SS Rajamouli. He acknowledged that the blockbuster film gave the much-needed push to South films.

“People started becoming familiar with our dubbed films. It was long pending. Credit goes to SS Rajamouli sir. If you have to break a rock, continuous effort is needed. Baahubali gave that push,” he added.

Meanwhile, on the work front, the actor will be seen next in his upcoming film Toxic. The actor has already started filming for the Geetu Mohandas’ directorial and confirmed the exciting news by sharing a picture from the sets.

As per reports, the plot of Toxic will explore the dark world of the drug mafia in the 1950s. The upcoming film promises a gripping narrative showcasing Yash’s powerful role. Toxic is set to hit the big screens on April 10, 2025.

However, Pinkvilla had earlier informed that the film might not be released on the announced date but no official confirmation has been made.

On the other hand, Prabhas has a list of exciting films in the pipeline. The first one is The Raja Saab, Spirit with Sandeep Reddy Vanga and he will also be seen in Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD’s second Installment.
