Don’t Move TRAILER: Why Is Kelsey Asbille’s Nervous System on Verge of Shutdown in Sam Raimi’s Netflix Thriller? Watch

What if you have an enemy you cannot outrun? It is possibly the fate that Kelsey Asbille’s character will meet in Don’t Move, a trailer for which was recently released.

Well, the Halloween season is on its way, and Netflix is not stepping away from bringing you one of the greatest horror movies. The streamer recently launched the trailer for Don’t Move during the Geeked Week fan event.

Shocks and surprises, along with a touch of struggle for life, are what the newly released footage shows. With mind-blowing music running all around in the background, the loudest sound is going to be the gasps of the audience who love this genre.

“What did you do to me?” Asbille’s character asks as another unknown sound of a male is heard, stating, “Have you started to feel it yet?”

As seen in the trailer, the female is shown trying to stay alive and seek help while being paranoid in the woods. Asbille is seen setting her digital watch to a twenty-minute timer, as she has only this much time left to escape her fate and get treated as she has been injected with a relaxant.

There are some really horrific shots shown in the trailer for Don’t Move that might actually scare you to death and make you afraid of being alone again.

We are not talking about only being scared while alone in the house but also while taking a simple and refreshing stroll in the woods, all by yourself.

If you are scared of Leatherface, Jigsaw, Jason, and more, be ready to add a new name to the list, as Don’t Move will surely introduce one of the craziest antagonists.

As heard in the trailer of this anticipated movie, the character of  Kelsey Asbille would have just a minute before her motor skills would begin to shut. As the mysterious male voice states, her leg will start to tingle, right within the next 10 minutes. At 15, “your legs will give out altogether. At minute 18, your breathing will become labored. And just before everything shuts down on you—your voice.”

According to the plot of the film, a grieving woman who is trying to find solace in the forest comes across a stranger, who will be played by Finn Wittrock.

Wittrock’s character will be shown to inject the lead with an unknown paralytic agent, which slowly shuts all the movements of the body.

The movie is being directed by Adam Schindler and Brian Netto while being produced by Sam Raimi. Don’t Move will debut on Netflix on October 25, 2024.

THROWBACK: When Shah Rukh Khan was ‘disgustingly possessive’ about wife Gauri Khan and wouldn’t let her wear white shirt; ‘I had become very cheap’

Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s relationship is what dreams look like. Their eternal bond has stood the test of time, and the duo has been happily married for over three decades. While everyone hails SRK as ‘King Of Romance’ and an ideal partner, there was a time when he was “disgustingly possessive” and wouldn’t even allow Gauri to wear a white t-shirt.

In 1997, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan made their regal appearance on Rendezvous With Simi Garewal. During the conversation, the show host asked Gauri if King Khan had always been protective of her. In response to this, the star-wife revealed, “It was possessiveness. It has turned to protectiveness. He was disgustingly possessive, he was sick. He wouldn’t let me wear a white shirt because he thought that it was transparent. It was a kink in the mind, I think.”

SRK who was sitting next to her also laughed and agreed that he was “downright vulgar” at the time. Defending himself, the actor explained that initially, his insecurity stemmed from the “whole feeling of lack of ownership.”

He detailed that his relationship with Gauri was a secret and according to him, “Whether it’s a man or a woman, I think both of them want to have it (ownership). So one just felt like…somehow to control, and I had become very cheap,” he said.

Further, when Gauri was asked how she dealt with the superstar’s possessiveness, Gauri revealed that she had left him for a long time. She said he had to learn because she had warned him of never seeing her again.

Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan got married in 1991. The couple is now proud parents to three kids-Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan and AbRam. While Aryan is poised to make his directorial debut with Stardom, Suhana made her acting debut last year with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies.

On the work front, Shah Rukh will be next seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s directorial, King. He will also be sharing screen space with his daughter for the first time. The film also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Abhay Verma in the key roles. Pinkvilla exclusively informed you that the film will go on floors in Mumbai from January.

Tirupati Laddoo Row Reaches Top Court For “Protecting Religious Rights”

The row over animal fat allegedly being used to make the famed Tirupati laddoos reached the Supreme Court on Friday with a lawyer filing a petition alleging that the act violates fundamental Hindu religious customs and deeply hurts the sentiments of countless devotees who consider the ‘prasad’ a sacred blessing.

The petitioner has said the alleged presence of animal fat in the laddoos is symptomatic of larger systemic issues in temple administration and has called for the sanctity of Hindu religious practices being protected.

The controversy began after Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said on Wednesday that animal fat was used to make the sought-after laddoos given as ‘prasad’ by the Sri Venkateswara Temple in Tirupati under the previous YSR Congress government. The Andhra Pradesh government then cited a report by a Gujarat laboratory which stated that the ghee used in the laddoos contained traces of beef tallow, fish oil, and lard (pig fat).

In a letter petition sent to Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, lawyer Satyam Singh has said the allegations on the prasad at the temple, managed by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), have hurt the sentiments of devotees and the alleged act of using animal fat in the laddoos violates Article 25 of the Constitution, which guarantees the right to freedom of religion, including the right to practice religious customs.

Highlighting several judgments of the Supreme Court that have emphasised the importance of protecting essential religious practices, the petition claims the Tirupati incident is symptomatic of larger systemic issues in temple administration and calls for dedicated and culturally sensitive management of temples.

The lawyer who has sent the letter has also sought the protection of Hindu religious practices and ensuring proper management of sacred institutions, and urged the Supreme Court’s intervention in the matter.

Earlier on Friday, Union Health Minister JP Nadda asked Mr Naidu for a “detailed report” on the allegations. The BJP, which is an ally of Mr Naidu’s Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the Jana Sena, has said the alleged use of animal fat is an unforgivable sin, with senior leader Bandi Sanjay hinting that it may have happened because a “few people from other religions had been inducted” into the TTD board.

‘Diversionary Tactics’

The YSR Congress and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy have rubbished the allegations.

In his first statement on the controversy on Friday, Mr Reddy said the claims were false and a diversionary tactic by the TDP.

Senior YSR Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP YV Subba Reddy, who was the TTD chairman for four years, accused Mr Naidu of damaging the sanctity of the Tirumala shrine.

“Chandrababu Naidu has severely damaged the sanctity of Tirumala and the faith of crores of Hindus. His comments about the Tirumala prasad are extremely malicious. No person would speak such words or make such accusations,” Mr Reddy had said.

“It has been proven again that Chandrababu Naidu will stoop to any level for political gain. To strengthen the faith of the devotees, I, along with my family, am ready to take an oath before the almighty regarding the Tirumala ‘prasad’. Is Chandrababu Naidu willing to do the same with his family,” he asked.
