Thousands of volunteers from various universities and colleges have joined hands to make this year’s Deepotsav a massive event.

Precious jewels from the Napoleon era were stolen from the renowned Louvre Museum in Paris this morning.

A daring seven-minute heist at Paris’s Louvre Museum saw thieves on scooters, armed with chainsaws, storm the Apollo Gallery. They made off with Napoleon and Empress’s priceless jewellery collection, entering via a basket lift. One damaged piece was later found. This audacious daylight robbery, confirmed by France’s interior minister, has led to the museum’s closure and a full investigation.
