Following the deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, which claimed 26 lives, US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard voiced strong support for India. Gabbard condemned the attack, affirmed solidarity with India and Prime Minister Modi, and expressed condolences to the victims’ families. US officials, including President Trump, have reiterated their commitment to supporting India in combating terrorism.

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar also appealed to the people to rise above political, personal and other interests to prioritise national interest.

As the video went viral, it was also found that he was wearing a PC-DPM (Personal Clothing – Disruptive Pattern Material) camouflage introduced by the Indian Army in 2006.
