A B-school student in Kolkata was arrested following accusations of drugging and raping a woman psychologist during a counseling session in his hostel room. However, a twist emerged when the woman’s father refuted the allegations, claiming police coercion. The student is currently in police custody, while the police are facing non-cooperation from the family.

Radhika Yadav, a former tennis player, was allegedly murdered by her father in Gurugram due to his disapproval of her coaching aspiring players. Despite initial speculation involving her social media presence and a music video, police investigations revealed the primary motive was the father’s objection to his daughter’s income from tennis training.

The student, who previously filed a complaint against the teacher and sought action, suffered 90 per cent burn injuries after allegedly self-immolating on the campus premises.
