The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court has acquitted a man convicted in 2018 for allegedly molesting a mentally challenged woman.

Cyber crooks seem to be most active in southern India, with two states – Telangana and Karnataka – recording the highest rate of such crimes, showed National Crime Records Bureau data.

The request came after Pakistan’s army chief, Asim Munir, issued a nuclear war warning and former foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto made statements calling for action over India’s position on the water-sharing agreement.
