Taapsee Pannu is currently in Paris for the Summer Olympics 2024 to support her husband Mathias Boe who is the coach of badminton players Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy. On Saturday, Boe announced his retirement. Now, Taapsee has reacted to his post.

Mathias Boe took to his social media handle to share a photo with Chiraj and Satwiksairaj. He wrote, “I know the feeling all too well myself. Pushing yourself to the limit every day, to be in the best shape of your life, and then things don’t go as you would have hoped for. I know you guys are gutted, I know how much you wanted to bring a medal back to India, but this time it wasn’t meant to be. But you have everything to be proud of, how hard you have worked in this Olympics camp, battling injuries, even taking injections to reduce the pain, that is dedication, that is passion and that is a lot of Heart. You have won so much over the past years and you are going to win so much more in the future.”

He added, “For me, my coaching days end here, I’m not going to continue in India or anywhere else, for now at least. I have spent too much time in a badminton hall and it’s also pretty stressful to be a coach, I’m a tired old man.”

In response, Taapsee left a witty comment. She wrote, “But also now u r a married man. You need to take a step back. I need to come back home from work every day to ready dinner and cleaning in order. So chop chop!”

Taapsee Pannu and Mathias Boe tied the knot earlier this year. Their wedding was an intimate affair in Udaipur.

Kanika Dhillon is gearing up for the release of Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, which stars Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey in lead roles. Recently, Pannu opened up on a third instalment of Haseen Dillruba. She noted that she wants the makers to keep coming with sequels.

Alongside Taapsee and Vikrant, the second instalment, namely Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba also stars Sunny Kaushal and Jimmy Shergill in pivotal roles. The movie is scheduled to be released on August 9, 2024.
