After the massive success of Saiyaara, Ahaan Panday has started the shoot for his next film with Ali Abbas Zafar. The filmmaker took to social media to announce that the shooting commenced today. Besides Ahaan, the Yash Raj Films-backed project will also star Sharvari and Nishaanchi star Aaishvary Thackeray.

Zafar shared a photo with the actor which seemed to be taken on the location of the shoot. Both of them looked dashing in black outfits, paired with jackets. In the picture, the filmmaker can be seen placing his hands on Ahaan’s shoulder. He captioned the post as, “Power isn’t Given ..Its TAKEN … Ready to Roll @ahaanpandayy”

As per reports, the team will shoot in Mumbai first, before flying to London in May this year. Ahaan is expected to film a large-scale action sequence in London and has been training extensively in hand-to-hand combat practice and weapon training.

Ali Abbas Zafar is known for delivering large-scale, mass-appeal entertainers such as Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai, and trade experts believe this upcoming project will be mounted on a similar scale. The story is said to be rooted in romance while featuring high-energy action, dramatic emotions and sequences designed to deliver a big-screen experience.

Earlier, another report suggested that the filmmaker is going to present Ahaan in a completely different avatar. Pinkvilla quoted a source as saying, “The director wants to present his star in a jaw-dropping manner. The captain of the ship is known for presenting the biggest superstars in auras that people have loved, and he is excited to work with a young star like Ahaan now and do something insanely exciting. We have to wait for the film’s asset to know what he has in mind.”

Reports also state that Zafar has signed Nishaanchi actor Aaishvary Thackeray to play the main antagonist in the film.

The makers of Subedaar today unveiled the visually striking trailer of the action-thriller starring Anil Kapoor. The trailer offers a glimpse into the film’s raw, cinematic spectacle, highlighting its large-scale production and the immersive world of Subedaar.

The movie is headlined by Anil Kapoor as Subedaar Arjun Maurya and also features an ensemble cast including Radhikka Madan, Saurabh Shukla, Mona Singh, Aditya Rawal, Faisal Malik, and Khushboo Sundar in pivotal roles.

The trailer plunges into India’s rugged heartland, where illegal sand mining fuels a land ruled by fear and silence. Retired Subedaar Arjun Maurya returns and his path collides with Prince (Aditya Rawal). Kapoor anchors the film with simmering intensity, delivering the powerful line, “Fauji hai, seene mein goli jhel sakte hai, beizzati nahi.”

What follows is a tense and brutal face-off as Arjun takes on a ruthless new adversary, while his strained relationship with his daughter Shyama (Radhikka Madan) deepens the emotional stakes. The trailer also presents Anil Kapoor in one of his most intense avatars yet.

Aamir Khan Productions has now unveiled a special video capturing the heartfelt collaboration behind the film’s title track.

Reports of Arijit Singh’s possible retirement had earlier sparked speculation across the music industry. Determined to have the singer’s voice shape the emotional core of Ek Din, Aamir personally visited Murshidabad and spent four days with Arijit and his family. The visit was not just professional but intimate, reflecting Aamir’s belief in building creative partnerships rooted in trust and understanding.

Arijit, widely regarded as one of India’s most beloved playback singers, ultimately came on board to lend his voice to the romantic drama starring Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan. Aamir later shared a poster thanking the singer, effectively putting retirement rumours to rest and confirming the collaboration.

The newly released special video offers glimpses of warm, behind-the-scenes moments from Murshidabad.
