There is finally an update on Squid Game America, the U.S. spinoff of Squid Game. During the third and final season of the South Korean show, the makers teased an American chapter. Now we are getting to know that creator Hwang Dong-hyuk will join hands with acclaimed filmmaker David Fincher for the American spinoff. It will reportedly feature a brand-new cast and completely fresh storyline while staying rooted in the same chilling universe as the original.

After the release of the show, Dong Hyuk told Variety, “All I wanted to have was just an impactful ending, and that’s all that was to it. Honestly, I haven’t heard officially from Netflix about David Fincher creating a Squid Game. I have heard the rumours, of course, though. But again, it was just the ending that I wanted for season 3. I’ve always been a big fan of Cate Blanchett, and all of my producers are as well. They really wanted her. As for offering the role to the particular actor, that happened after we began shooting.”

Squid Game America will reportedly release in late 2028.

Aryan Khan has been making a series of striking appearances in the city lately. A couple of days back, he was seen at the grand party of his brand, an event that saw some of Bollywood’s biggest names in attendance. Last night, The Ba***ds of Bollywood director was seen with composer Anirudh Ravichander in the city.

Aryan, who usually keeps a low profile around the paparazzi and rarely pauses for pictures, surprised fans by stopping to pose with Anirudh. Shah Rukh Khan’s son kept it casual in a blue hoodie paired with denims while the composer looked handsome in an all-black ensemble. Before leaving the venue, Aryan gave Anirudh a warm hug and waved him good bye.

Anirudh Ravichander has not just worked with Shah Rukh Khan in the films Jawan and King, but also worked with Aryan on his debut show, The Ba***ds of Bollywood.
