Priyanka Chopra Jonas received a hearty letter from daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas on the occasion of Mother’s Day. The actress took to social media to share the letter with her fans, while captioning it as, “She knows me so well.”

She also added, “I was so close to losing her so many times that she can get away with anything, and I just want to see her happy. I want her to be the happiest. She’s a super smiley, happy baby, and that’s all my goal is – to see her joyous. Every time she smiles, it lights up my world, and that’s all I want to do.”

Spirit, the ambitious international action drama, entered a major new production phase on May 11. This latest schedule is focused on mounting large-scale action sequences. Prabhas, who plays a fierce and brooding cop in the film, is currently shooting intense fight scenes alongside Vivek Oberoi and other members of the cast. The production team is expected to spend the next two months filming crucial action episodes and key narrative portions.

Action choreographer Supreme Sundar is overseeing the stunt sequences. He has reportedly been working closely with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and cinematographer Raj Thota to design visually striking action blocks. The last time Vanga staged a confrontation between hero and antagonist, featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol in Animal, audiences were treated to an intense cinematic experience.

Production journey remains on track

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, this prestigious project remains firmly on schedule. Fans recently received confirmation that the film will release worldwide on March 5, 2027, with no postponement currently being considered. The film features Prabhas in the role of a fierce police officer. Vanga, known for Arjun Reddy, Kabir Singh, and Animal, is handling writing, direction, and editing duties. Triptii Dimri plays the female lead, while Aishwarya Desi stars opposite Prabhas in a key role. Harshavardhan Rameshwar is composing the music for the film. The team reportedly began shooting only after extensive music sittings to establish the film’s tonal identity. Prakash Raj and Kanchana will also be seen in important roles.

An ambitious international release

Spirit is also being planned as a major international release, with dubbed versions in Mandarin, Japanese, and Korean. The scale of the project extends far beyond a conventional pan-Indian release strategy. The film officially went on floors in late 2025. Chiranjeevi, whom Vanga greatly admires, attended the launch ceremony as the chief guest.

Tamannaah Bhatia added a spiritual start to her Tuesday morning as she visited the famous Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain. Accompanied by a few close friends, the actress attended the early morning aarti and offered prayers at the holy shrine. Videos and pictures from her visit have now gone viral on social media, with fans praising her simplicity and devotion.

Her temple visit came shortly after the launch of The Legend of Vvan comic alongside Sidharth Malhotra at Mumbai Comic Con 2026, which took place on May 9 and 10. Soon after wrapping up the event, Tamannaah headed to Ujjain to seek blessings at the sacred temple.

For the visit, the actress chose a graceful red saree and styled her hair in a neat bun. With chandan and a bindi on her forehead, Tamannaah looked elegant and deeply immersed in the spiritual atmosphere. In the videos circulating online, she can be seen sitting among devotees, folding her hands in prayer and attentively participating in the temple rituals performed by the priests.

On the work front, Tamannaah has several exciting projects lined up. The actress, who continues to receive appreciation for her dance appearances in Bollywood films, will next be seen in Ragini MMS 3 alongside Junaid Khan. She also has V Shantaram’s biopic with Siddhant Chaturvedi in the pipeline, with the film expected to release later this year.
