Do Patti: Kajol Kriti Sanons mystery-thrillers release date revealed

Kajol and Kriti Sanon are all set to share the screen in the mystery-thriller, Do Patti. A promo of the film was released recently, revealing the release date. The film will see Kajol essaying the role of a cop for the first time in her career while Kriti seemingly plays a criminal. The duo will be sharing the screen again after Dilwale (2015) which also starred Shah Rukh Khan and Varun Dhawan.

The film will release on October 25 on Netflix. Directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, the film also stars Shaheer Sheikh in a key role.

Kriti Sanon has already had two releases this year, namely Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and Crew. And for Do Patti, the actress will also wear the hat of a producer.

 

Kajol, on the other hand, has an impressive lineup of films such as Sarzameen, Maa and Maharagni- Queen of Queens apart from Do Patti.

South Korean actress Park Ji Ah passes away at 52

South Korean actress Park Ji Ah passed away at the age of 52 after suffering a stroke. Her agency confirmed the news, revealing the cause of her death as ischemic stroke. She passed away early in the morning on September 30.

As per Korean media, her close acquaintance was quoted saying, “[Park Jia] recently collapsed due to a cerebral infarction and was battling it in the hospital, but unfortunately, she did not recover and passed away”. 

Her funeral procession will take place on October 2 at 10 am, as per her agency.

Park Ji Ah made her acting debut in 1998. She was popular for her collaboration with filmmaker Kim Ki-duk and appeared in at least five of his works. The actress gained appreciation for her roles in Breath, The Coast Guard and The Glory.

“Keep Gods Out Of Politics”: Supreme Court On Tirupati Laddoo Row

The Supreme Court on Monday emphasised the divide between religion and politics as it heard petitions over allegations of animal fat in ghee used to make laddoos at Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati temple.

The court took a dim view of the timing of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu releasing a lab report claiming traces of fish oil, beef tallow, and lard (pig fat) were found in the ghee.

“We expect Gods to be kept away from politics, why did the Chief Minister go to the press?” the court asked.
