The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM)-led INDIA bloc secured a resounding victory in the Jharkhand assembly elections, winning 56 out of 81 seats. JMM’s success, attributed to its pro-tribal identity and welfare schemes, marks its first absolute majority since the state’s formation in 2000. The BJP, despite its focus on infiltration issues, could only secure 24 seats.

Following setbacks in the Lok Sabha polls, BJP launched a campaign in Maharashtra emphasizing Hindu unity for safety and progress.
