Professor Muhammad Yunus, the head of Bangladesh’s interim government, has initiated ‘mango diplomacy’ with India, weeks after the Foreign Ministry said New Delhi was willing to discuss all issues with Dhaka in a “conducive” environment.

Ujjwal Nikam, renowned special public prosecutor, expressed gratitude for his Rajya Sabha nomination, recounting a personal call from PM Modi. The Prime Minister, after jokingly asking whether to converse in Hindi or Marathi, spoke in Marathi to convey the President’s decision.
