The Calcutta High Court expressed serious concern over the vandalism at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, questioning the state’s ability to provide security for doctors. The court noted the failure of the state machinery in preventing the attack and highlighted the impact on the morale of medical staff. Immediate measures were urged to prevent future incidents.
