Former WFI president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh accused wrestlers Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia of cheating and disrespecting women after joining Congress ahead of Haryana elections. He claimed their protests were orchestrated by Congress to discredit BJP. Singh also alleged the protests disrupted wrestling activities, impacting India’s performance in international competitions.
