Suhas Shetty, a known rowdy sheeter, was brutally murdered in Mangaluru, with CCTV footage capturing the daylight attack by multiple assailants. Police have registered a murder case and launched a manhunt, suspecting the crime was premeditated. Prohibitory orders have been imposed to prevent further violence, as Shetty was an accused in a previous murder case that triggered communal tension.

A Nepali undergraduate student was found dead in her hostel room in Bhubaneswar’s KIIT on Thursday evening, making it the second such case in less than three months.
