A surgical resident, Dr. Mahendra Reddy G S, has been arrested and remanded in custody for the alleged murder of his wife, dermatologist Dr. Kritika M Reddy. He is accused of administering an anaesthetic overdose, with forensic reports confirming the presence of Propofol in her viscera. Investigators are examining his motive and how he procured the drug.
